These Terms govern your access to and use of Social Bones. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
We may update these Terms; changes are effective immediately upon posting.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics

What you get: access to Social Bones’ AI social media automation platform as a subscription service.

What you can’t do: resell, sub-licence, or misuse the service.

Data ownership: you own your uploads, we own AI-created posts and licensed images, but you can use them while subscribed.

Billing: subscriptions auto-renew, cancel anytime to stop future charges. No refunds for past billing.

Support: email support during business hours.

Law: governed by NZ law, Consumer Guarantees Act excluded for business use.
What to Include in the T&C Document
Service Provided
Social Bones provides access to an AI-assisted SaaS platform for creating, scheduling, and managing social media content. Features may change over time.
Accounts
You must provide accurate details and keep login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Your Uploads: you retain ownership of logos, brand assets, and proprietary data you upload.

AI-Generated Posts & Licensed Images: all AI-generated content, captions, and stock images sourced through integrations (e.g. Shutterstock) are owned by Social Bones. Customers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use this content only while subscribed.

Service Data: usage data, analytics, and aggregated statistics are owned by Social Bones.

Restrictions: you may not resell, sub-licence, or distribute the platform, AI outputs, or licensed stock outside your own business use.
Acceptable Use
You must not:

Use the platform for spam or unlawful activity (Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, Fair Trading Act 1986).

Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

Interfere with the platform’s operation or security.
Billing & Payments

Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annual) and auto-renew.

Prices are in NZD, exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed via third-party providers.

Refunds: payments are non-refundable once processed. Cancel anytime to stop future billing. Billing errors will be corrected if notified within 30 days.
Termination

You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing cycle.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of Terms, misuse, or non-payment.

On termination, your licence to use Social Bones content ends.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by NZ law:

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of profits.

Liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

If acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.
